I tried my hand at some poetry today. What do you think?

How could I tell you how much I love you
When I love you more than words could say? 

And how could I tell you how much I need you?
When I would be so lost without you that I wouldn’t know where to turn 

Before you came and cared for me I was a shadow of a man
But with your love I am stronger where I stand 

I am proud to be yours, my lover, my best friend
You are the one I share everything with

My love for you will never end.
